Answering the Survey Questions
Each question has two facets. The top row is “Your Ideal” – how you think things should be – and the bottom row is “Your Reality” – how things actually are in your daily experience. Please answer both.
Guidance for completing survey. We have compared our resondents’ view on the ‘Ideal’ with that of our own ranking of what the ‘Ideal’ is for the innovative companies we have profiled. Download Mean Ideal versus W&P Ranking. This may help in setting your own ‘Ideal’.
In the example below, the respondent has indicated that, ideally, there should be some mechanism for rewarding innovation, but that the reality for this respondent is that there is less evidence of such mechanisms.

There is no “positive” or “negative” correlation between answers left or right of the “0.” In other words, answering with a “-3″ does not necessarily indicate a judgmentally “negative” response. Please note the extremes measured in each question carefully before answering.
